Southern Tier Community Health Center Network, Inc. (STCHCN) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer
to assume responsibility of its operations in the two-county region of Cattaraugus County and Allegany County, in New York State. The principal office is located in Olean, N.Y.
STCHCN is a Federally Qualified Health Center that has four (4) sites spanning the two counties and serves over 10,000 patients annually, providing primary medical care, integrated behavioral health services, care management services and dental services.
STCHCN is proud to have been the recipient of the Health Resource and Services Administration's (HRSA) National Quality Award each year of the award’s existence. In addition, STCHCN has expanded steadily since becoming a Federal grantee in 2012 to just shy of $10 million in annual operating revenue in 2017.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: supervising a staff of over 80 employees, providing strategic oversight of the clinical operations, ensuring adherence with the federal grant awards, preparing the organization for transition into a "value-based" reimbursement model, and overseeing all other regulatory responsibilities.
- 5-10 years experience working in a leadership role at a primary care clinic of similar size
- 2-5 years experience with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) strongly preferred.
- demonstrated knowledge of practice transformation model and "value-based" payment model is strongly preferred.
- master’s degree in public health is preferred, or a combination of a bachelor’s degree in public health, business and/or finance with demonstrated health care management experience.

Universal Primary Care is Currently looking for a Family Medicine Physician
Southern Tier Community Health Center Network, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Cattaraugus and Allegany counties in beautiful western New York, is seeking a board-certified family medicine physician to join its Olean staff.
The ideal candidate is a team player with demonstrable training in preventive medicine and quality care. STCHCN prides itself on achieving some of the highest quality health outcomes for its patients across all health centers and seeks only those professionals engaged in providing compassionate, high-quality care to all who seek our services. Physicians are expected to be the patient's advocate and a leader in the clinic, particularly when it comes to decisions involving care practices and quality outcomes. The best candidate will have worked in a fast-paced outpatient model as a member of an integrated team with integrated behavioral health and care management staff. This physician will work well with staff, creating a challenging but empowering environment. An ability to problem solve, work well with others, research and develop best practices and provide efficient but comprehensive care are requirements of the position.
Located in western New York, STCHCN serves over 10,000 patients annually through four delivery sites. Its Olean site is its largest, home to over 7,000 patients. The region is renowned for its outdoor activities including camping, cycling, running and swimming in summer and cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in winter at nearby Allegany State Park and downhill skiing available at Holiday Valley Ski Resort and HoliMont in Ellicottville, N.Y. Surrounding the nearby village of Allegany, N.Y., is a biking trail that connects Olean and Allegany as well as St. Bonaventure University, a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. Entertainment and shopping are also availble at the nearby Seneca Allegany Casino, Seneca Niagara Casino, the Chautauqua Institution, and many others in the Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara Falls, Erie, and Syracuse.
Physicians selected to join STCHCN's dynamic health care team will have a unique opportunity to serve as a volunteer faculty member and physician advisor to one of the four University of Buffalo Family Medicine residents who complete their final two years' of residency at STCHCN's Olean site. The close-knit medical team also includes four other family medicine physicians (three with surgical obstetrics fellowship training); one internal medicine physician; three certified nurse midwives; three nurse practitioners; and three physician assistants. Our dynamic model includes one psychologist, two licensed clinical social workers, three registered nurse care managers, two registered nurse community health workers, and an enabling staff. Our Houghton site also offers on-site dental services.
STCHCN provides a competitive salary structure and exceptional benefits including guaranteed student loan repayment of $25,000 per year for qualified candidates as well as up to a 6% match to a qualified retirement investment account. Licensed Practical Nurse:
Description: Perform tasks and responsibilities of a busy medical practice within the framework of case-finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed physician and/or other licensed health care provider as allowed by law.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing, current New York State license and one year medical/surgical experience. Computer skills and experienct with electronic health records a plus.
